General Information

 

Minimum Order Quantities

All orders must be a quantity of at least 50. The exceptions are Super Husky Transplants which must meet a 30 minimum and dunegrass which must meet a minimum of 500.

Pricing

Pricing broken down into a 5 teir price system:

 
List Price - applies to any item(s) ordered in quantities 50 - 249
250 Price - applies to any item(s) ordered in quantities 250 - 499
500 Price - applies to any item(s) ordered in quantities 500 - 999
1000 Price - applies to any item(s) ordered in quantities 1000 - 2499
2500 Price - applies to any item(s) ordered in quantities 2500+

Payment Terms

Pickup orders must be paid prior to pickup, unless special arrangments have been made. NO OUT OF STATE CHECKS. All payments must be made in US dollars only. Payments can be made in Cash, Money Order, Check, Discover, Master Card or Visa.


  • Orders of $500 or less require full payment to reserve the plant material.
  • Orders over $500 require a 25% deposit to reserve the plant material.
  • The balance is then due 6 weeks prior to pick up or the shipping date, or within terms.
  • These terms apply to all customers, including those with Net 30 terms.

    Shipping

    		Shipping is based on weight and distance traveled. Please contact your customer representative for a shipping estimate. Please note: due to the volatile nature of shipping costs, we reserve the right to reassess shipping charges prior to shipment.

    All shipments are made using UPS Ground or UPS Freight unless otherwise arranged.

    Changes to existing orders

    		Changes to ship dates or items on existing orders will be accepted until 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the scheduled ship week. Our production department needs this time to ensure the plants are harvested, graded and packaged accurately. Any changes requested under this time frame can not be guaranteed.

    Cancellations

    		Order cancellations will be accepted 6 weeks prior to the schedule ship date with no penalty charge. A 25% restocking fee may be assessed to cencellations on orders that have already been graded and packed.

    Claims

    		All claims for shortages, shipping damages, heated stock or any other shipping related problem must be submitted in writing within 10 days after shipment.

    Claims for plant loss must be submitted in writing by letter or fax 90 days after shipment. We will then contact you to obtain further information to process your claim.

    At no time is Vans Pines Nursery, Inc. obligated for more than the original F.O.B. cost of the stock shipped. If a claim is granted, a plant credit for the plant material in question will be issued. That plant credit may be used on any plant material up to the dollar amount of the credit. It is the sole resposibility of the purchaser to pay for any shipping or pick up charges related to the replacement order. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. It is also the resposibility of the purcheser to place an order to take advantage of the plant credit. Vans Pines Nursery, Inc. assumes no resposibility for the automatic booking of the replacement order.
